Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts and large hail.Hazards:Wind gusts up to 100 km/h.Torrential downpours.Risk of tornado.Nickel to ping pong ball sized hail.Timing:Late this afternoon into this evening.Discussion:A line of thunderstorms is expected to develop late this afternoon or early this evening. The environment also supports a tornado risk. While the probability of nickel to ping pong ball sized hail is low, it remains possible.Large hail can damage property and cause injury.
