Located on an iconic campus in the heart of Dublin’s city centre, Trinity has over 21,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students across our three faculties – Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences; Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM); and Health Sciences.

Trinity is the highest rank Irish university on the Best Universities for Graduate Jobs (THE Global Employability University Ranking 2023-24). It has partnered with more than 500 businesses including Mircosoft, Google, IBM, Pfizer, and Roche, offering graduates built-in post-graduation career opportunities and gateways to employment.

Working in Ireland

On graduation, undergraduate students have the option to remain in Ireland to work for one year on the Third Level Graduate Scheme. Eligible postgraduate students can stay for up to two years. Students may also be allowed remain in Ireland for a longer period if they secure employment that meets the criteria for a Work Permit. The US-Ireland Working Holiday Agreement provides a separate one-year work permit for US students, who can apply for this within 12 months of graduating.

Courses

We offer a wide variety of undergraduate degree programmes across our three faculties: Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences; Engineering, Mathematics and Science; and Health Sciences. Many courses include optional modules, to help tailor your degree to suit your interests, incorporating additional elements such as study abroad, innovation, internships, or quantitative research methods. These practical experiences help further boost your skills and enhance employability.

An undergraduate course normally lasts for four years. We have many courses in diverse areas of study including: Arts and Humanities, Social and Human Sciences, Business and Law, Science and Mathematics, Engineering and Computer Science, and Health Science. An online application fee of €55 per course applied for is required for all courses. Please note the online application fee is non-refundable.
