Sometimes, people just know how to be social media stars. They just have that knack to light the Internet on fire. Olivia “Livvy” Dunne has that skill. She’s a skilled athlete, extremely beautiful and very funny, so her videos almost always go viral. In the latest viral video, Olivia “Livvy” Dunne in a bikini gets water dumped on her. She has the best reaction, too.
In case you aren’t aware, did you know that to this day, Dunne maintains the title of being the most-followed college athlete in America on social media? She has more than 13 million followers across platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and Twitter. She also makes millinos of dollars a year in endorsem*nt deals. So, if you think this dumping-water-on-bikini-girl thing is silly, think again.
With all the fame comes haters. I don’t get why people like to hate on anyone who is doing well, but it happens. When asked about her haters in a recent article from Elle.com, Dunne says that when people see a woman winning, they something have a lot to say. “If you’re a woman at the forefront of something, when you’ve got eyes on you, people are going to downplay your success and say that you’re not doing it right, that you don’t deserve all the opportunities. I don’t want to say ‘F you,’ but the best way to get that to stop is to keep being successful at what you’re doing, because your success, and love for what you do, will outshine any of that.” You go, girl.
But, enough about her fame and social following.
Watch the video of Dunne below. It’s a super short video but still going viral. In the video, she says she’s “thirsty,” and then she just has a funny reaction when the water comes pouring down. Also, check out photos of her at the ESPYs below.
@livvy #onthisday refreshed!
