Standard-setting ISO State Filing Handbook on Westlaw
NEW YORK, May 15, 2000 — Insurance Services Office, Inc. (ISO) and West Group have forged a strategic alliance to distribute selected ISO publications via Westlaw®, West Group's premier online legal and business research service with more than 13,000 databases.
The first ISO publication to appear on Westlaw will be ISO's trusted State Filing Handbook. ISO's State Filing Handbook is recognized in the property/casualty industry as the authoritative source on state insurance laws and regulations governing requirements for filing rates, rules and policy forms with state regulators.
Through Westlaw, law firms, insurers' in-house legal counsel, state-filing departments and insurance-compliance professionals will now have constant access to the most current version of the State Filing Handbook. The Westlaw format also allows customers to conveniently download or print each state's filing forms for regulatory filings. Westlaw is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week, through proprietary software or via the Internet at www.westlaw.com.
